Welcome to PingTunnel (Android package com.esrrhs.pingtunnel.client, the “App”), developed by esrrhs (“we”). Please read this policy before use. By continuing to use the App, you acknowledge this policy. If you disagree, stop using the App.

1. Information we collect and use

The App is a VPN/proxy client that connects to servers you configure. We do not run a user-account backend and do not collect, upload, or sell your personal information, browsing history, or device identifiers to our servers for advertising or analytics.

Data the App may process locally or access with your permission:

• VPN profiles and secrets (server address, password, cipher and advanced transport settings) are stored only on your device for connecting.
• Network traffic (including DNS when VPN is on) is tunneled over ICMP to your pingtunnel server. We do not receive that traffic.
• Installed-app list may be read locally for per-app proxy UI/routing and is not uploaded to us.
• Camera is used only when you scan a QR code to import a profile.
• Approximate location / Wi-Fi SSID is used only when you add the current Wi-Fi as a trusted network; SSIDs stay on-device.
• Notifications and boot receiver support VPN status and optional auto-connect; content is not sent to us.
• Local logs and connection history stay on-device for troubleshooting and are not automatically sent to us.

2. Storage and protection

Profiles, logs and connection records are stored locally. You may delete them in the App or by uninstalling. Keep your device and your server credentials secure.

3. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. Traffic goes to the pingtunnel server you specify; that operator’s practices are outside our control—use only servers you trust or are authorized to use. We may disclose information when required by applicable law.

4. Third parties and open source

The App embeds open-source components (e.g. pingtunnel and hev-socks5-tunnel) that run locally. Google Play may process limited distribution-related data under Google’s policies.

5. Children

The App is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect children’s personal data.

6. Changes

We may update this policy on this page with a new effective date. Please review it periodically.
